Queen – Action This Day

Time again for musical throwback Thursday.  Has been a long time I have a picked a Queen song.  While I am a huge fan of them I don’t know all their songs.  So going to share one I discovered a few days ago.  It is Action This Day off their 1982 album Hot Space.  Do like it a lot.  Am thinking I need to listen to all their albums from start to finish.  You can hear Action This Day > here or below.

Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now

For the month of January (2019) have been only using Queen songs musical throwback Thursdays.  This will be the last one.  Not sure I will will pick a different band for next month but it does sound like a good idea.  The thing there isn’t that many brands I like multiple songs from.  For this weeks pick, it’s Don’t Stop Me Now.  This is their 1978 album Jazz.  It ones of those song that get stuck in your head and the words are very easy to remember.  Give it a listen/watch > here or below.

Queen – Seven Seas Of Rhye

For the latest Queen musical throwback Thursday.  Want to pick one that is not heard very often.  It is Seven Seas of Rhye.  The song is off their first two albums Queen and Queen II.  The first version is much different than the one on the second album.  You can give it a listen > here of below.

Queen – Headlong

Continuing the month long Queen musical throwback Thursday.  The pick this week is Headlong.  It is one of their best songs you don’t hear that often.  Its fast and catchy.  It if off their 1991 album Innuendo.  You and give it a watch/listen > here or below.

Queen – Somebody To Love

Time again for musical throwback Thursday.  Have decided this month (January 2019) will all be Queen songs.  The song this week is Somebody To Love.  This is off their 1976 album A Day at the Races.  They have many classic song and this is at the top.  To this day the song never seems to age.  Give it a listen for yourself > here or below.

Bohemian Rhapsody Blu-ray

Have read that the Blu-ray/DVD for the movie Bohemian Rhapsody will be out soon.  This movie was out in theatres back in November 2018.  Didn’t get to see it then.  But will get to soon because it will out on digital platforms January 22, 2019.  Then on disc February 12.  Not sure yet if I will rent or buy a copy.  While I does look good and want to see.  Just don’t know if I will watch it more than once.

Queen – One Vision

The first musical throwback Thursday of a new year.  So mind as well pick a song from my favorite band, Queen.  They have some many awesome songs.  The pick this time is One Vision.  Can remember hearing this for the first time and it was amazing.  Still is to this day.  The song is off their 1986 album A Kind of Magic  You and hear/see it > here.  Fried Chicken.

Queen – Who Wants To Live Forever

Time once again for musical throwback Thursday.  With the movie Bohemian Rhapsody out soon (November 2, 2018) figured it was a good time to pick one of my favourite Queen songs, Who Wants to Live Forever.  This is off their 1986 album A Kind of Magic.  Some of the songs are on the soundtrack for the movie Highlander.  I first heard this song on the Classic Queen tape.  You can give it a watch/listen > here or below.

Bohemian Rhapsody – The Movie: Official Trailer

Back in May (2018) they put out a teaser trailer for the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody.  This tells the story of Queen right up there famous Live Aid performance.  Have been a huge Queen fan for more than half my life. To this day their music stands the test of time.  In fact the are still touring all around the world.  Well they other day the put out an official trailer.  Which you can see > here or below.  Think this movie will be pretty awesome.  It is set to be out November 2, 2018.  Not often I go to the theater.  Plan to see this for sure.

Bohemian Rhapsody: The Movie – Official Teaser Trailer

For many years there has been rumors that there was a movie about Queen.  They are my favorite band.  So was was very interested in this.  A while back read that they have started to make a movie.  Then read it wasn’t going so well.  So was surprised the other day (May 15, 2018) that there was a teaser trailer out for the movie.  Which is called Bohemian Rhapsody.  I guess they got everything worked out.  After watching the trailer think it will be a good.  You can see if for yourself > here or below.  At the end he reads November 2.  Not sure if that date will be in Canada as well.
