Once again it is musical throwback Thursday. The pick this time is another Moby song, South Side feat. Gwen Stefani. Can remember this being a big hit. Haven’t heard this one in many years until writing this post. Think it holds up really well. Their to voices together work really well. This song if off this 1999 album Play. For this weeks musical throwback Thursday picked the song Disco Lies by Moby. Should say it is Disco Lies (Freemasons Remix) which is a pretty awesome remix. The song is off his 2008 album Last Night. The video for the song is pretty funny. It has a pimp chicken going after a fake KFC bad guy. Seen > this video awhile back about a stuntman, Bob Brown. I said to myself I have to look up the name of the song in the video. Just remember today to do that. It turns out to be a Moby song called Hymn. Well it is a remix version. Found it under different names on YouTube. There is one that has no video just a picture. But it is same used in the stuntman video. They are calling it Moby – Hymn (piano original). It is a great song for sure.

Re-discovered Disco Lies by Moby from his latest album Last Night. I really like it. Very catchy. There are some good remix out there too. Found one on Vimeo called Disco Lies (Freemasons Remix). More remix’s can be found here on youtube.
