Articulated Minecraft Creeper: Print-In-Place

Have printed off another thing found over at Printables.com.  This > here, Articulated Minecraft Creeper: Print-In-Place.  Wanted to see if my 3D printer settings could do something like this.  Happy to say it turned out great.  Once done you can take a small knife to separate the legs.  Then just turn the head very carefully to unlock it.

Minecraft PvP On Consoles

Has you may know I am a fan of Minecraft on my PS4.  While I haven’t played it in a while it is one of the those games that easy to pick up and play.  Taking about this time because there is a new mode/s coming to the console versions of the game.  It will have special maps for deathmatch and mini games.  All for free.  Which they are calling Battle.   The best part is not only will it be online it all so will be four player splitscreen.  The update will be out some time in June.   You can read the official post > here.  Will be giving this a try and will report back.

PS4 Minecraft Online Co-op Multiplayer

A few days ago got to try online co-op multiplayer in Minecraft on my PS4.  Have to say it worked great.  We were in creative mode.  That is the mode where you get unlimited blocks and every item to build with.  So we ended up building this huge and super long railway.   It started of at the very bottom of a cave.  Which was dug down to bed rock.  Worked its way around the cave up into the sky.  Where another guy built this spiral way into the sky.  Then it went down back.  Back up into the castle they other guy built.   It took minutes to go from one end to the other.   It was/is pretty crazy what you can do in the game.  If you can think it, it can be built.

Minecraft Console Update 1.8.8

Has been a little while since I have played Minecraft on my PS4.  A week or so ago on (December 18, 2015) Mojang released a new update for the consoles.  They are saying it is the biggest update for the consoles, number 1.8.8 update.  Which happens to be free as well.  They added all kinds of new items, blocks, mobs and biomes.  All so whole host of other things and fixes.  You can read all about it > here.  I had to check out some of this new stuff.  Right way crafted a the armour stand.  Seen some of the new blocks as well the rabbits.  Said this a few times all ready.  If you haven’t played this game yet.  Give it a go. Well worth the money

LEGO Minecraft The First Night

Everyone knows LEGO’s are awesome and that Minecraft is just as awesome.  I am a big fan of playing Minecraft on my PS4.  Being an “adult”  some people think LEGO is only for kids.  Have all ways wanted to buy a few sets.  Because they are fun to put together.  I am thinking about buying LEGO Minecraft The First Night.  See at a local story they have two sets on sale.  So wanted to buy it right at moment.  But sadly had know room in my backpack.  Thinking I might go on my day off and buy it.  In the mean time seen this video > here a while back. Uses this set in a stop motion video which is pretty funny.

PS4 Minecraft Split Screen Multiplayer

Have enjoyed playing the PS4 version of Minecraft off and on for many months now.  The other night a few of us decided to give split screen multiplayer a try.  Reading the screen says it is easy all you have to do is press the options button the the controller.  That worked but the you need to sign in the PSN or create a new account.  There is an option to play as a guest but that didn’t work for some reason.  So ended up sign in under my PSN name on my friends PS4.  Then it worked great.

The game plays just the same as single player.  The only difference was it was  harder to read the inventory screen.  It was blast playing together.  We decided to build a huge bridge in the sky.  Fell to our deaths or near death a bunch of times.  But it was still fun.  Plan to do it again sometime and see how much crazy we can built the bride.

Minecraft Console Update

Have been playing Minecraft on my PS4 off and on since January (2015).  This is an awesome game.  What I like about it is you can go at your own pace.  It can be anything you want to be.  You can play it like an action adventure, go exploring,  build what every you want or do some farming.  Or any combination of that.  Back on July 1, 2015 they put out a new update for all console versions of the game.  It bring features that are all ready in the PC version.  The feature that stands out to me is being able to change, difficulty, time, weather and more with in the game session.  Have not tried any of this out yet.  But have downloaded it.  You can read all about the update > here.  Below is text is copied right from their site.

Minecraft: The Story of Mojang

If you have seen a few of my posts the last few months you may know I have really liking Minecraft on my PS4.   This game has been very popular for many years.  I don’t know much about it other than its fun to play and there are all kinds of non-game products out there.  Remember hearing about the documentary,  Minecraft: The Story of Mojang a long while back.  It started off on a Kickstarter campaign.  It tells the story of the development of the gamer over a year it its official launch.  It premiered on Xbox Live on December 22, 2012.  After watching the trailer > here or below.  Wanted to watch this.  If you are interested to see this as well.  Found it on Archive.org > here.  My next day off plan to watch it.

Minecraft: Hangers

Even now again would see Minecraft toys and items.  Never understood the appeal. However  that has changed.  Now that I have/do play the PS4 version of the game.  A few days back while waiting in line at the checkout.  The checkout next to me had hockey cards and stuff like that.  Looked down and seen the Minecraft logo.  In the box there were this bind bag toys.  Picked one up so see what it was all about.  They were Minecraft Hangers.  It is a small plastic toy in a bind bag (don’t know what one is inside) with a key chain loop with a bigger plastic hanger hook on that.  The package says there are ten to collect.  I like this kind of things and am a fan of the game now.  So I bought two.  Ended up with a sheep and a sword.  Have to say they do look pretty cool.  Like they are right out of the game.  Just might go back and get some more.  Knowing my luck they will be all gone.  Which happed when I tried to get more of those Lego Simpsons bind bag toys.

Minecraft

Back at the end of January 2015 bought the download version Minecraft for my PS4.  Got around to trying it out a few nights back.  Started with the opening basic tutorial.  Messed around with that for a bit.  Getting used to how the controls work as well as the crafting.  Wanted to know more about crafting things from my first house.  As you may know Minecraft is super popular so there are lots of great help out there.  Found one that is really good.  It’s called DigMinecraft.com.  Just how this site will come in handy.

Having a blast playing this game.  Being able to go at your own pace is very nice.  There is some thing very peaceful about the way the mining and placing blocks works.   Right now I am building a big castle/wall around my the small house I made the first night in the game.  Want to got exploring but need to get some better equipment first.  Some of the monsters that come out at night can be tough.
