Low Poly Hulk Done

Made a few posts all ready talking about the Low Poly Hulk model form youmagine.com > here.   3D printed it in black PLA.  The prime it in grey.  After that painted it.  It took three coats of green.  Two for the purple and just one for the black.  After I finished painting it.  Had to do a few touch ups with my hand wobbled.  As you can see the picture below.  I think it turned out great.  My next step is to seal it in a clear coat.  The only problem is, its November so the weather can be hit or miss.

 

Low Poly Hulk

A few posts back talked about 3D printing a Low Poly Hulk model that I got from youmagine.com > here.   It took over 19 hours to print and it turned out amazing.  Decided that I will paint.  With only three colours it should be an easy job.  Picked up some green and purple paint.  All ready have some black.  So far as I am typing this (November 12, 2021, have two coats of green on.  Thinking one more should do it.  Then I will move on to the purple pants.  Will post a picture or two when it is done.

PLA Filament From Filaments.ca

Took me about a month but got around to trying the PLA filament I ordered from Filaments.ca.  Found a cool low poly Hulk model over at youmagine.com > here.  It seemed easy to print and simple to paint.  Which I will do at some point.  Scaled the model down at first just to see who well it would turn out.   In which it did.  So, printed it again, just much bigger.  It took about 19 hours and 25 mins.  It looks amazing.  As for the PLA filament it is this one here.  (Sadly, sold out as of typing this November 7, 2021).

Planet Hulk Review

I look forward to the direct to DVD animated movies.  The newest one out from Marvel Animation is called Planet Hulk.  Well this one wasn’t that great.  The Hulk does talk in this one so that is nice.  Like the last bunch of animated movie from Marvel or DC they have been more graphic with some of the fighting.  That is nice to see too.  Since they are on DVD and not TV they can get away with more.  The story was a bit generic.  You can see all the plot points coming a mile away.

This is a rent for sure unless you are a big Hulk fan.  Hulk Vs. was a much better Hulk animated movie.

Hulk Vs. Review

This movie/movies is not for the young kids.  It is really violent and lots of blood.  I was shocked that Hulk Vs. at first because it is rare to see this Marvel’s direct to DVD’s.  But it is one of the things that makes this DVD great.  You get two different story.  One with Wolverine and the other is with Thor.  The stories are very different and with two different styles of the Hulk.  I liked the Hulk in the Thor story line better.  He looked better and didn’t have the stupid hair cut that he has in the Wolverine story.  Besides having the stupid hair cut in the Wolverine story, the Hulk was the Hulk that talks.  I am not a big fan of that.  The animation is top notch.  It is nice and crisp with lots of detail.  My favourite out of the two movies has to be Deadpool.  The character is very funny.  I hope they use him more in other cartoons.

If you are a comic book fan or a cartoon fan you can’t go wrong watching this.  For ever one else you might not know who some of the characters are.
