House Of The Dragon: The Complete First Season – Blu-ray

Have been trying my best to avoid spoilers for House of the Dragon which air last year on HBO Max.  Was planning on getting a copy on Blu-ray back in late December when it came out.  Well a month later managed to buy myself a copy.  Have been hearing lots of good things about it.  All so the a big fan of  Game of Thrones and the books the show is based off.  Plan to start watching one episode a night, if I am not too tired.

The Last of Us Trailer

A few months back we HBO put out teaser trailer for the show The Last of Us.   Which is based off the game of the same name.  Well they have put out a full trailer, which you can see > here or below.  After watching it, it looks amazing.  They some how brought the game world to the real world.  From what I have been reading the show will start on January 15, 2023.  Sadly I don’t have HBO Max.  Will just have to wait for it to come out on disc.

House Of The Dragon: The Complete First Season – Blu-ray

As you might know I am a big fan of Game of Thrones and the books the show is based off.  Have been looking forward to seeing House of the Dragon.  Season one started back in August (2022) and ended last week on October 23, 2022.  Haven’t seen any episodes yet, since I don’t have HBO Max.  Looked on up Amazon.ca to see if or when it was coming to Blu-ray.   It is, but there is no release date yet.  Going to keep my eye on this.  Will be adding this to my collection.

[Update] Typed this post out many days ago.  Since the found out the first season will be on Blu-ray December 20, 2022.

The Last Of Us – Official Teaser

For a long time now we have known that HBO was turning the game series The Last of Us into a show.  Only every played the first game on my PS3.  It has since be re-released for the PS4 and PS5.  Well about a week ago they put out a teaser trailer for the show, The Last of Us.  You can see it > here or below.  I was amazed at that they showed.   The ten episdoe run will start some time in 2023.

House of the Dragon – Official Trailer

As we get closer to August (2022) HBO has but out a new trailer for House of the Dragon.  Which you can see > here or below.  This one gives us a much better look at the show.  Must say it does very much look like Game of Thrones.  Which is a good thing.   Years ago I read the book this show is based around, Fire & Blood.  Enjoyed that a lot.  Do hope the show is good.  But sadly I will have to wait for it come out on Blu-ray before seeing it.  Don’t have HBO Max or plan to get it just for one show.

You might now I am a big fan of the Game of Thrones show and the book series A Song of Ice and Fire it’s based off.  Years ago when HBO announced they were working on more shows from this world, I was very interested.  We have known for a little while now the new show is called House of the Dragon.   Well there is some great new news to share.  They put out a teaser trailer which you can see > here or below.  The better news is the show will start on August 21, 2022.   It does look good but keeping my fingers crossed it really is.

House Of The Dragon – Official Tease

Game of Thornes fans if you haven’t heard or seen there is now a teaser trailer for House of The Dragon.   Which you can see > here or below.  It has been well known that this show has been in the works for years.  It based off the book Fire and Blood: 300 Years Before A Game of Thrones (A Targaryen History).  Read this back in 2019 and really enjoyed it.  Am thinking the show will only use parts of it.  The teaser trailer does look good.  Am hoping the show do live up to the hype.  I will find out some time in 2022.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Watched

After waiting many months to see Zack Snyder’s Justice League.  Gave it a watch this past weekend on Blu-ray.  It is a very long movie, over four hours.  It took me three sitting to get though it.  I comes on two discs.  My plan at first was to watch one, then the next day watch disc two.  Part way though the first disc I had to stop.  Was very tired and wanted to make sure I didn’t miss out on any little detail.  So the next day finished the first disc.  Then the day after that watched part two.

First off this is an awesome movie.  While it has parts of the other Justice League movie.  They add some many new scenes.  Not only does it look better the story is 100 times better.  Everyone gets lots of screen time.  Not sure I will be watching it again but I will at some point.  Very much recommend checking it out.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Blu-ray

Have made a bunch of posts all ready of Zack Snyder’s Justice League coming to Blu-ray.  Each time would find out a release date.  Then that info would change.  Which it has again.  In my last pots learned it would be out September 7, 2021.  Well that day has come and gone.  Looked again now they are saying September 14, 2021.  This is only a week.  Not a be deal.  Just would have been nice if the just picked a day and stayed with out.  Will find out his coming Tuesday if this will stay the day.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Blu-ray

Have made a few posts talking about Zack Snyder’s Justice League coming to Blu-ray.  In those post was wondering if it would be coming out on disc.  Then another find out it was.  At the time a site said it would be on disc in Canada in July (2021).   Well that is not right.  A few days ago they official announced the movie will be out in many disc formats on September 7, 2021.  Am happy this is happening.  Will be buying a Blu-ray copy.
