Birds of Prey Blu-ray

It was back in February (2020) that the newest live action DC movie, Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn, was out in theaters.  Since then world is has changed a lot.  May big movies are on digital platforms now or their faster than normal.  This Birds of Prey movie being one of them.  Am a big fan of DC Comics and very much looking forward to see this even with the internet once again has their pitchforks out.  I like to collect theses movies.  Searched to seen when it might out figuring it be so months later.  Turns out I was wrong.  From what I am reading it will be out on Discs May 12, 2020.

BIRDS OF PREY – Official Trailer #2

It was back in early October I first seen the trailer for Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.  This is the newest DC live action comic book movie. The first trailer has me interested.  However after seeing the second.  Which you can see for yourself > here or below.  I need to see this in theatres.  Looks very funny and has great action.  It will be out soon, February 7, 2020.

BIRDS OF PREY – Official Trailer

The trailer for BIRDS OF PREY was out the other day.  The full title of the movie is Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.  Was very impressed with what they show.  Think this is what the big budget DC movies need, something different.  Am a DC over all so it was cool to see characters that haven’t been in the live action movies yet.  Nice surprise to see that Ewan McGregor is in.  Very much looking forward to see this next year when it’s out.  Which is February 7, 2020.  You can see the trailer > here or below.

Batman Day 2017

There is a twist to this years (2017) Batman Day.  It is all so Harley Quinn’s 25th anniversary.  Her character gets more popular every year. So she is taking over Batman Day.  Much like the past few there will be all kinds of deals going in some stores as well as online.  If you are looking to buy some Batman related comics and stuff.  Today is the day, September 23, 2017.  Will be keeping any eye our from some good deals on some trade paperbacks.

Batman And Harley Quinn Review

Have watched the newest DC Universe Animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn.  This is much different then the last bunch they have put it.  It has a similar look to 90’s TV show, Batman: The Animated Series. There was a much more lighted hearted tone with a bit a serious stuff mixed in.  There were lots of jokes.  They even and Batman take part in some of them.  As for the humour it was all over the place.  It had your kid friendly potty jokes and then there were some very adult jokes.  It kind of worked.  As for the story it was a bit disjointed.  The basis of the story has Batman and Nightwing needing Harley Quinn help to stop Poison Ivy and Floronic Man.  There is a few times it left like they cut some stuff out.  So when the next scene starts it felt like something was missing.

Over all like this movie.  There was a lot more fun this one than past ones.  All the voice acting was great.  All so like they tipped their hat to the 1960’s Batman TV show is spots.  This is a standalone movie so you don’t have to seen anything else before.  But is does help if you seen the 90’s cartoon.

Batman And Harley Quinn

Just a reminder that the next movie in the DC Universe Animated line is Batman and Harley Quinn.   Will be out next week (August 29, 2017) on Blu-ray/DVD.  It has been out on digitally platforms for a little while now.  For myself I like to collect the disc versions of this movies.  Looking forward to watching this one very much.  It has the same art style as 90’s show, Batman: The Animated Series.  It even as the best Batman/Bruce Wayne, Kevin Conroy back as the voices.  If you missed the trailer or want to see it again.  You can do so > here.

The next movie in the DC Universe Animated line is Batman and Harley Quinn.  The story has Batman and Nightwing teaming up with Harley Quinn to take down Poison Ivy and Floronic Man.  What makes this one standout is, it is drawn like the awesome 90’s show, Batman: The Animated Series.  It even has Kevin Conroy back as the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne.  You can see the trailer > here or below.  It looks like a fun watch.  As you may know by know I collect these so will be having a copy of this as well.  It will be out on Blu-ray August 29, 2017.  But two weeks early you get it digitally on the 15th.
