Batman Day 2022

It slipped my mind but today is Batman Day (September 17, 2022).   This has been going on for many years now.  Lots of place around the world are having events or screening of movies.  Thinking to celebrate will pick a Batman movie I haven’t seen in a long time.  Last years watched Zack Snyder’s Justice League.  May it will be Batman: Under the Red Hood.  This came out back in 2010 and own a copy of DVD.  Remember really liking it and at that time was my favourite of this series.

Batman Day 2021

All most forgot today is Batman Day (September 18, 2021).  For a many years how they have been doing this to celebrate The Dark Knight.  If you have ever stopped by this blog you will know I am a huge Batman and DC fan.  There are lots of deals going on in online stores.  For me I am going to celebrate by watching Zack Snyder’s Justice League on Blu-ray.  Have been looking forward to seeing this version of the movie for many months now.

Batman Day 2020

For bunch of years now.  In September DC Comics has a Batman Day.  This year it will be a bit different but it is still happening.  September 19, 2020 is the day.  You can read the official bog post > here.  Which out lines some of what will be going on around the world. A few years back managed to get a great deal on some digital trade paperbacks.  Many be I will get some great deals again this year.

Batman Day 2019

It is September now so that means is it all most time for Batman Day.  This has been going on for a few years now.  However this will be a big one since he is 80 years old.  Am sure some stores in your local area will be running some kind of events.  All so think online retailers will be having sales as well.  Myself plan to re-watch some of my favourite Batman movies.  The date this year is September 21, 2019.

Batman Day 2018

If you haven’t heard today (September 15, 2018) is Batman Day.  Do believe this will be the fifth one.  Online digital retail stores have been running sales all week.  Am sure some stores in your local area might be having sales.  I did order two Batman related trades off Amazon.ca.   Have Batman Volume 6: Bride or Burglar and Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II.  So get outer here and get something Batman related.  Or may be read some come comics.  Then re-watch some of the old shows and movies.

Batman Day 2017

There is a twist to this years (2017) Batman Day.  It is all so Harley Quinn’s 25th anniversary.  Her character gets more popular every year. So she is taking over Batman Day.  Much like the past few there will be all kinds of deals going in some stores as well as online.  If you are looking to buy some Batman related comics and stuff.  Today is the day, September 23, 2017.  Will be keeping any eye our from some good deals on some trade paperbacks.

Batman Day 2016

For the past few years a day in September is called Batman Day.  This day was first set aside three years ago to celebrate his 75th anniversary.  There will be all kinds of events going on at participating comic book store and other book stores.  Not sure if the ones in my area will be doing anything.  However think much like last year there will be deals to be had online.  Last year I got Batman Eternal Volume 1 and Volume 2 off the DC Comics app for four dollars each.  The date for this event is September 17, 2016.

[Update] You have to act fast.  Comixology is running a sale covering may comics/graphic novels over Batman’s history.  This sale ends on the 19th.   You can see the sale > here.

Happy Batman Day 2015

Today (September 26, 2015) is Batman Day.  A lot of places online are have sales on just about everything Batman.  As you may know I am a big fan so I to take advantage.  Over at DC Comics online book store > here.  They have an 80% off single digital issues. So they are going for $0.99.  They all so a sale on Batman eBooks (the digital version of a trade paperback).  There are 18 to choose from, all going for $3.99.  Had some money left over on my Google Play account.  So bought two eBooks though DC Comics app on my tablet.  Bought, Batman Eternal Volume 1 and Volume 2.  Have been thinking about buying these for awhile off of Amazon.ca.   At the moment they want $40.75 for vol.1 and $35.99 for vol.2.  So save a lot of money.   Have know I idea what the story is about so hope it’s good.
