Shaun of the Dead

While I am not a big fan of Halloween.  Don’t mind watching a “scary” movie at this time of year.  A long time ago my plan was to watch Shaun of the Dead every year.  That didn’t happen.  So going to try again this year.  This is an awesome movie and holds up well.  Do believe it is on Netflix.  But I own a copy of Blu-ray.

Halloween 2017

It is Halloween.  Every year for years now have watched Shaun of the Dead on this day.  But thinking it might be time to watch a scary movie.  Not really into those.  But why not tonight.  There is all kinds on Netflix.  Just hard to choose one.  While not a big fan of Halloween.  What I like most about it is the half price candy the next day.

Halloween 2016

Say this every year and will say it again, not a big fan of Halloween.  The best thing is the candy is on sale the next day.  However it is all ways nice to watch a scary movie.   Most years will re-watch Shaun of the Dead.  This year plan to watch something on Netflix.  See that they have The Witch on there.  Remember seen the trailers for this and it looks pretty good.

Halloween 2015

I am not big into Halloween.  Sure the candy is good and even better when it goes on sale the the next day.  Most Halloweens try to watch a scary movie.  However most of them are crap.  So a few years ago decided to watch the same movie every year.  That movie is Shaun of the Dead.  It’s hard to believe this movie is a 11 years old now.  Still remember the first time seeing it.  It was and still a blast to watch.  So that is what I will be doing eating Rockets and watching this.

Shaun of the Dead

Halloween is today.  While I am not a big fan.  It is still a great time to watch movies.  Have not seen Shaun of the Dead in years.  This comedy zombie movie is so much better than so may “scary” zombie movies.  It is ten years old this year and it holds up very well.  Even when you see them using cell phones.  Not sure how many times I have seen this but it makes me laugh every time.  If you have never seen this you are miss out on a good time.

Halloween 2013

I am not big into Halloween.  More into the half price candy that will be on sale tomorrow.  However there are some things that are cool.  I remember an old video I posted back in 2008.   The video is called The Life and Death of a Pumpkin.  While this video is old in internet years (came out in 2006) it is holds up very well.  A lot has changed to YouTube since 2006.  This video runs at 240p and is not widescreen.  Think I am spoiled at all the new videos.  If you have never seen this check it out > here or below.  It is a very funny with a creepy take on the life and death of a pumpkin.

Pumpkin Carving 2010

With today being Halloween and I thought it might be a good time to get around and carver the pumpkin.  Like the past two years I just download a template.  It is so much easier.  Didn’t put a hole lot of time into.  But  I think it turned out ok.

Pumpkin Carving 2009

Carved the pumpkin today (Oct 29, 2009).  Like last here I downloaded a template.  It makes it so much easier than trying to come up with some thing.  Since I hate carving the pumpkin, but any who the picture is below.  It turned out ok.

Carved our Halloween pumpkin today.  Wanted to do something different this year.  So I download a bat template, but here was a snag.  My printer would not print.  I ended up drawing the bat freehand.  So that why it looks funny.  It turned out all right.  Better than the stander triangle eyes and evil smile.
