GTA Online: The Cayo Perico Heist

Tried out more of the Cayo Perico Heist in Grand Theft Auto Online.  Left off were you scout out the island.  When I logged back in started to do some of the prep missions.  There are a bunch you can do.  The basically have you go some were on the map and get an item.  The few I did were pretty fun even if I died a few times.  Found a good tutorial, which you can see > here, showing off the best way to go about playing the heist.  Watched it a few times just to make sure I could pull it off.  As I am typing this haven’t finished the it yet.  Will be back with another update.

GTA Online: The Cayo Perico Heist

Tried out part of the Cayo Perico Heist in Grand Theft Auto Online.   It is the new add on/DLC that can be played single player, which is nice.  First you need to go to the new nightclub that is under the casino.  The talk to a guy who tells you to buy a submarine to start this new heist.  This acts as the base of operations.  Next there is more story stuff as you head the the new location, which is an island.  This is were you will be doing the heist.  Once the story stuff is over you need to scout the island to find the items you were sent to get.  All so along the way you will mark other items you can take.  When you are done that.  You head back the the main game to start off the next part of the mission.  This is were I stopped.  Planning to play with my brother in the coming days.  So will wait to finish that with him.

GTA Online: The Cayo Perico Heist Trailer

Should have talked about this soon.  Back in November (2020) Rockstar Games announced a new update coming to Grand Theft Auto Online.   It is called the Cayo Perico Heist.  This adds a new location and new ways to play.  In the past heist missions you have to have four players.  This time it can be played solo or up to four players.  On December 9th they put out a new trailer which you can see > here or below.  Will check trying this new DLC some time soon.  It is set to be on on December 15th.

GTA Online – The Cayo Perico Heist

It has been a long time since there as been a big DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online.  I was guessing they would be holding off until there next gen version of the game.  Well I was wrong.  Last week they announced The Cayo Perico Heist.  This is a pretty big deal because it is adding a new location to the game.  Another big change is this heist is it can be played solo.  All the other you needed four people.  There is not much more to go on just let.  There is the article linked above and a teaser trailer.  Which you can see > here or below.  This update is set to be out December 15, 2020.

Grand Theft Auto Online Summer Update

There is now a summer update for GTA Online.  They are calling it Los Santos Summer Special.  They are adding new co-op work though the Yacht’s.  All so new business battles and adversary modes.  There will be more vehicles along with open wheel ones.  As with the open wheel cars there will be a open wheel race creator.  This stuff all sounds fine.  But I was hoping for something cooler.  They gloss over one feature they mention at the bottom of the post.  You can know own eight properties. We will get to see how good everything is on August 11, 2020.  You can read the official blog post > here.

Grand Theft Auto Online Summer Update Soon

Rockstar Games is adding some new content to GTA Online.  I do enjoy playing this game off and on.  From their blog post > here from a few days back.  Said the are adding new stuff to Red Dead Online on July 28, 2020.  Then later this summer a new update for GTA Online saying, “biggest ever update for GTA Online, featuring our latest take on Heists in an entirely new location.”   I am hoping it is something very cool.  Will be getting an eye for more info.

Grand Theft Auto Online New Missions

Rockstar Games have added a lot of content to GTA Online over the years.  They have add some more again but this time it’s a bit different.  Most of the content is tied to buying something to unlock new missions.  This time they add six missions which anyone can play.   They are unlock right way for new players.  They can be played solo or with three others.  This is great news.  They are called Gerald’s Last Play.  As of typing this, tired three of theses mission.  The first two had fun and had no trouble.  The third I failed.  Just need to find the best way to play that one.  Plan to try the other three when I get a chance.  If it has been awhile since you last played GTA Online.  You might want to give these missions a try.

Grand Theft Auto V/Online

Back in 2013 bought a copy of Grand Theft Auto V for my PS3 day one.  Put a lot of hours into and then even more then the online was out.  Then in 2015 bought the game again for the PS4.  Mostly to play online with friends.  Racked up hundreds of hours over the past five years with PS4 version.  While I don’t play it as much any more.  Still fun to got back to every now again.  That is because they are all ways adding stuff.  All so give way money and in games items. Jumped back in last week and this because they are/were giving away a million GTA dollars each week.  Couldn’t pass that up.  Think I will buy the flying motorcycle thing with the money.

GTA Online: Casino

Back on July 23, 2019 Grand Theft Auto Online had it’s newest add on The Diamond Casino & Resort out.  Gave it a quick try that night.  First off am very impressed in the detail inside the casino.  There are shot machines, table games and simulated horse racing.  There is all so a big wheel you can spin once a day for free to win prizes.  The big one is a car.  Just like in a real casino.  They all so give you 1000 chips for free each day as well.  With the chips you can buy items in the casino store or you can cash them out for money.  Not sure how much time I would spend in there.  But every time I play will give the big wheel a spin.

The Diamond Casino & Resort

Have many years now rumors that there will be a casino coming to Grand Theft Auto Online.  They made an announcement on July 18, 2019 that The Diamond Casino & Resort will be out July 23, 2019.  After watching the trailer > here or below.  I am guess this new update will work like the others.  It will cost way too much money and you will have to do many missions to keep it going.  We will find out very soon.  Will be giving it a try.  Once I do will be back with an update.
