Game Of Thrones: Season Three Blu-ray Review

As you may know I am a huge fan of Game of Thrones.  Have finished watching season three  Blu-ray box set with all the extras.  Have to say they have done a much better job with the season with the extras.  The audio commentaries were really good as well.  Just a little let down by them.  The box says there are 12 commentaries.  With ten episodes you would thing all ten commentaries one for each episode and two extras for the key episodes.  But know some of the episodes don’t have any commentary.  That is just a small grip.  Over all the this is well worth the money.  From the packaging right through to the extra everything is awesome.

This a must buy for any Game of Thrones fan.  Being on Blu-ray each episode is clear/sharp and sounds great.  The Blu-ray set all comes with DVD’s of the season as well.  Which is nice.  Now that I am done watching this.  Just have to for for season four to start.  Which is April 6, 2014.  Just is case you haven’t marked it on you calendar.

Game Of Thrones: Season Three Blu-ray

Have been waiting for months now for February 18, 2014.  If you follow this blog you will know that is the day season three of Game of Thrones is out on Blu-ray and DVD.  While I was on my lunch break went and got myself a copy.  Wasn’t the only one from work to do so.   Just like the other two season the box set  comes with all kinds of extra features.  There are 12 audio commentaries as well as all kind of other extras.  This is the only show or movie for that matter where I listen to the audio commentaries .  Because sometimes you get a bit more info on the show and how it all came together and behind the scenes stuff.  Find all that very interesting.  Now looking forward to my day off to have a Gaam of Thrones binge.

Game Of Thrones Season 4: Ice And Fire: A Foreshadowing

All last week keep seeing post of on Game of Thrones Facebook page > here.  Talking about a 15 minute look back, clips from the new season as well as cast member’s answering fan questions.  Which was to air Sunday night (February 9, 2014) before the show called True Detective.  Have some good news for the people that missed it or don’t have HBO it is now on Game of Thrones YouTube page.  You can check it out > here or below.  It is an interesting watch.  The behind the scene stuff is cool.  If you are not caught up with season three and don’t want any spoilers.  You might not want to watch this.  So looking forward to the new season.  Which starts up again April 6, 2014.   Season three will be out on Blu-ray/DVD February 18, 2014.

Game of Thrones Season 4: Trailer

The hype is building for season four of Game of Thrones.  This is one of those shows that can put out a teaser trailer > here for the full trailer > here or below that will be out January 12, 2014.  Was hoping the new season would start at the end of March like past seasons.  Will just have to wait a week later because it premieres April 6, 2014.  So can’t wait to see what cool, crazy stuff happens next.   All so keep this date, February 18, 2014, on your calendar.   This is when season three will be out on Blu-ray and DVD.

On a side note.  I am all most finished reading A Clash of Kings.   This is book two of A Song of Ice and Fire.  Will have a review of that later.  But will say now that the show is does a great job of interrupting the books.   How ever the books have so much good stuff that will never seen on the TV screen.

Game Of Thrones: Season Three Blu-ray/DVD

Just a reminder that season three of Game of Thrones will be out on Blu-ray and DVD February 18, 2014.  So looking forward to see all these episodes again.  I know people still talking about the red wedding.  Speaking of that they are going to have an extra on the Blu-ray box set talking about that.  That should be a cool to see.  There will all so other extras along with 12 audio commentaries.  This is the only show I like listening to the audio commentaries.  As for season four.  They are saying a spring 2014 start.  Looking back at the past three season it will be April/March.

Game Of Thrones: Season Three Blu-ray/DVD

Good news we have a release date for season Three Blu-ray/DVD of Game of Thrones.  Just like season two it will be out in February.  The date is February 18, 2014.  Soon after that season four will start. While that is still far way it is important to talk about now, lol.  Will be buying a copy on Blu-ray.   Just like the first two seasons.  Pretty sure it come with a bunch of extras.  Not to sure what they are yet.  Sure they will be good.   Can’t wait to see these episodes again.  Just might have to watch the first two season all over again.
