FLSUN Q5 Or Artillery Genius

Have made many posts talking about getting a FDM 3D printer.  Have narrowed it down to two.  The first one is the FLSUN Q5.  First talked about back in the summer of 2020.  It has a lot of nice features.  The second printer is the Artillery Genius.  Is pretty cool as well.  One down side to the FLSun is it is very tall.  So it might not fit were I would need to have.  As for the Genius it costs more.  Going to keep thinking on it some more.  Still need to save up some more money.

Artillery Genius

Have been looking at many FDM 3D printers for the past year.  There has been two I had my eye on, the FLSUN Q5 and the Anycubic Mega Zero (or S model).  Have found  another one that I think I will be getting in the new year (when I can get a good deal on one).  It is the Artillery Genius.  Watch some videos on it.  Very simple to put together and easy to use.  Another good feature is it a lot quieter than the Mega models.  All so can use different filaments.  Received some Amazon gift cards for Christmas so thinking I will get a spool of PLA filament.  So when I do get the printer I can start right way.

Anycubic Mega Zero

Have my eye on a different FDM 3D printer now.  It is the Anycubic Mega Zero.  A for a bit now have been thinking about getting a FLSUN Q5.  That one is really nice.  It just very tall and were I would have to use it.  It might not fit.   All so the the price on the Mega Zero is cheaper.  This is mostly because it doesn’t have a heated build plate.   Watched a bunch of video on it and it seems to work great. All so easy to setup.  In the States it’s supper cheap. As of typing this (September 15, 2020) it’s on sale of there website for $139.00.  They don’t ship to Canada.  However Amazon.ca has it > here for $210.00.  That is all most $200 cheaper than the FLSun Q5.  Going to think on it some more.

FLSUN Q5

Thinking about getting myself another 3D printer.  This time a FDM one, theses are the ones that print using plastic wire.  The one I am looking at is called FLSUN Q5.  They call it a Delta design.  Most FDM printers the print bed moves back and forth.  With this one the bed doesn’t move. Just three arms were the plastic comes out, Hot End.  Another selling feature is it has Auto Leveling.   All so the price is not too bad.  As I am typing this (August 15, 2020), over at Amazon.ca > here they want $400.00.  Then on GearBest.com > here they are on sale for $298.00.  Am very temped to get one.  Will all so need to get some PLA (that is the plastic you print with).
