It is Tuesday March 27, 2018. That means I got my hands on a copy of Far Cry 5. About a week before the game was out there has been lot of video up on games websites and YouTube showing off more of the gameplay. Didn’t want anything spoiled on me. So have not been looking an any new info on the game. Know it doesn’t matter too much. Since I can finally check it out for myself.
[Update] This game is pure awesome.
A few weeks back read that there is a Far Cry 5 live action short film coming out soon. Watched the trailer and it looked pretty interesting. Forgot about until now. So looked it up again. The title is called Far Cry 5: Inside Eden’s Gate. Wanted to watch it but it turns out it is an Amazon Prime exclusive. I don’t have a Prime account. So decided to see it someone might have “accidently” put it on YouTube. Sure enough it was here. [Update it is gone now] Gave it was watch. Wasn’t too bad. I like how the worked in some of the way the game will play like. I hope at some point Ubisoft will put in on their official YouTube channel so more people can see it. The game will be out March 27, 2018.
Yet another post talking about Far Cry 5. There will be a lot more too once the game is out. Talking about it again because Ubisoft have announced another awesome feature of the game, Far Cry Arcade. It sounds pretty cool. In past games there was a map editor. Which you could play deathmatch and team deathmatch. That’s all fine. But there is a lot more too it that has me very interested. It will feature 9,000 assets to use. Just not from the Far Cry games. But other Ubisoft games as well. Like Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, AC: Unity and Watch Dogs. Then there are the new modes for solo and co-op, Assault, Outpost, Journey and Bounty Hunt. You will have all kinds of control what map will look and sounds like. We are in to March (2018) now so that means that Far Cry 5 will be out soon. In a few weeks, March 27 to be exact. This game is one of the two I am most looking forward to playing this year. The other is Red Dead Redemption 2. Which is not out until October. Became of fan of the Far Cry series back when is seen some live gameplay for the third one. Played the hell out of three and four. After watching a bunch of gameplay for this one. I just know this will be the best one yet.
Back again talking about Far Cry 5. This time because they put out a story trailer. All ready hyped to buy this game. The trailer has me wanting to play it now. At the end of January (2018) they had a live stream of gameplay. It looks amazing and super fun to play. Yesterday, January 26, 2018 Ubisoft did a livestream gameplay for Far Cry 5. I missed it because I was working. However they do have it archived on their YouTube channel. Am so hyped to play this game. However wasn’t too sure if I would watch this or not because I don’t want to have anything spoiled. Then said why not. This game is going to be huge so they wouldn’t give too much way. It was to be out in February but was delayed to March 27, 2018. Plan to get this day one. I am very much looking forward to seeing how well co-op will work. You can see the livestream > here or below.
Have some said news to share about Far Cry 5. It has been delayed. Sure it not by much, one month. Was first to be out February 27, 2018. Will not be on March 27. This happens all the time to big games. Very much looking forward to playing this. It looks amazing. With the extra wait I hope is better than I think it will be. This isn’t only game Ubisoft have delayed. The Crew 2 was been pushed back until, “the first half of our fiscal year”. Not sure when that is. You can read the official post > here.
Has been a few months since I talked about Far Cry 5. Am a big fan of these games. Very much looking forward to this one. Even more now. We all ready knew the game had co-op. They put out a new trailer showing this off. Which you can see > here or below. The full game will be playable this way. Think this is pretty awesome. The last game had co-op. But only for some mission types. It was kind of fun. However this opens the game up to all kinds of chaos. Will be buying this game for sure. It set to be out February 27, 2018.
Back on May 16th Ubisoft reviled that they are bring out sequels to their big game franchises. One of which is Far Cry 5. The on May 22nd they put out four teaser videos. All with the tag line Welcome to Hope Country Montana. At the end of each there is some text saying, Tune in Friday, May 26th for worldwide reveal. Well that was Yesterday.
A watching the trailer three times. Which you can see > here or below. Think this will be the best Far Cry game yet. It seems like there are improving on the game play that makes them great. While adding lots of new things. A side from the announcement trailer. They put out three “Meet …” videos. Which show off the characters who will be helping you out. You can see them by clicking their names, Mary May Fairgrave, Nick Rye and Pastor Jerome Jeffries.
There is some information out about the game as well. It takes place in Hope County, Montana. Where an evil cult called Eden’s Gate has taken over. Some of the things that standout for me (so far). The story can be played in two player co-op. There will be more vehicles to drive. Planes to fly. Even have dogfights. They are saying there is a map editor. Not sure how that will work. But sounds cool. Pretty sure there will more more info out at this years E3. The game is set to be out February 27, 2018. Will be buying day one for sure.
