Far Cry 3 On The PC For Free

That’s right you can get a free copy of the PC version of Far Cry 3. But you need to act fast.  This is for a limited time.  You have from now (September 7, 2021) to the 11th.  All you need to do is heard over the the Ubisoft Store.  The link is > here.  There is other catch as well, from the website,  “ You will need to install the Ubisoft Connect for PC application in order to run this content.”  So if you are into PC gaming and don’t own this awesome game.  Well worth checking out.

Far Cry 3 Classic Edition

Few post back talked about buying the season pass for Far Cry 5.  Well I bought it.  One part of this season pass is, Far Cry 3 Classic Edition.  This is the only way to get the game so far.  At some point it will be a standalone on the store.  Back when the game first came out, December 2012.  I played the crap out of it.  It was one of the first games I ever got 100% in.  It was a bit hard to get back into at first.  Since I have been playing Far Cry 5 for months now.  Not sure if I will ever finish it again.  But it is nice to have a copy that I can play without having to hook up the PS3.

Far Cry 4

A few posts back talked about the next gen Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed: Unity.  Have some more Ubisoft game news to share.  There is Far Cry 4 in the works of the PS4 and Xbox One.  From the little bit a info I have read it  be out in early 2015.  The game will be set in the Himalayas.  So there will be some snow.  So that is cool.  They all so say you will be able to ride elephants.  The articles all so say the world will be set up similar to Far Cry 3.  Speaking of Far Cry 3, it is one of my all time favourite games.  So more of this type of game play, I am sold.   Will be watching out for more info to come during 2014 E3.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Patch

Have not talked about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in a while so I would talk about it once again.  There is a reason while I am talking about game once again.  Because there is good news.  Just like they did for Far Cry 3.   They have put out a patch that let you rest the garrisons.  So you can re-take them over again.  In Far Cry 3 it was one of the funniest things to do is take over the garrisons.  So it is nice to see them add this to Blood Dragon.  Have not download this patch yet since I am still replaying The Last Of Us.  But I will.  So if you have moved on from this game it is a good reason to go back.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Review

Finished up playing Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon the other day.  Did every thing in the game only a few trophies left to get.  Enjoyed playing this downloadable game very much.  If you liked Far Cry 3 you will like the game.  While it looks much different it plays the same.  If you have not hear about the game it is has a bad 80’s VHS sci fi action movies flavour to it.  Which makes it fun and very funny.  The game made me laugh out loud a bunch of times with what they are saying.  The cut scenes look like they were made for a 16 bit game.  Which was all so cool.  Think this is well worth the $15 to download.

Not a big fan of downloadable only game, but ever now again there is one I have to get.  Highly recommend downloading this game.  It all about 8 to 10 hours long but hey are very enjoyable hours.  There is a demo out if you are on the fences.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

Yes taking about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon yet again.  That is because last night I bought it.  So far I have only played the first section of the game.  If you have played the demo.  That is how the full game starts.  Just were the demo stops I played a bit more that leads to a big a battle at the end of the mission.  Have to say after only playing that little bit the game is a blast to play.  Like Far Cry 3 here is skills to be earned.  But there there is a difference the game upgrades then for you.  You get XP by doing different things in the game.  It is a a good way to do it.  Makes the gameplay for fast and arcadey.  Which fits the game well.  Its over the top silly fun with all stuff that made Far Cry awesome.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Demo

Now that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is available to download.  I wanted to see how much it will cost, which is $15.  Went on the PSN store and had a nice surprise.  There is a demo for the game.  So had to download that.  Well they say it is a demo but it is the full game with all a small bit to try.  If you like it and buy it do don’t have to download it again.  You may or may not know this but I am a huge fan of Far Cry 3.  Blood Dragon way look different but plays the same.  It use the same gameplay mechanics.  Which is a good thing since Far Cry 3 has great setup.  The demo is a bit short but you get a good taste of the humour and taking out the bad guys.  Enjoyed this game. Plan to buy it.  Still have a $20 PSN card on my desk I never used let.  However going to wait a bit before buy.  Because my TV die two days back.  Have borrowed a small TV.  So when I get a new TV (hoping tomorrow or the next day to have a new one) I will be buying this game.  So if you are on the fence about this download the demo.  It’s a blast.

Blood Dragon: The Cyber War

The second day in a row I am talking about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.  This time because the guys at Corridor Digital have worked there magic once again.  These guys all ways make awesome videos.  They have worked with Ubisoft’s properties before.  So  it is now surprise that they made a new video which is called Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon The Cyber War.  If you haven’t see the trailer for the game yet you can see it > here.  Watch that first so you will get a better idea what The Cyber War video is all about.  The game is available to download May 1, 2013 on PSN, PC and Xbox Live.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Gameplay

Over at Gamespot.com they have four new gameplay videos > here.  Posted one below, for the upcoming game, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.  If you haven’t heard it is a downloadable and standalone game for XBox live, PSN and PC.  The game uses the same game mechanics as Far Cry 3.  The world is much different.  It has a bad 80’s sci-fi action movie fell and look.  If you check out the videos  (one, two, three and four) even the music is spot on.  Still not sure how much it will cost but it will be out May 1, 2013.  Might must just download this.  As long as it is not too much money.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Trailer

There is a new Far Cry game coming out soon and it looks awesome.  It is called Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.  Its is not an add on or DLC for Far Cry 3.  You don’t even have to own a copy of Far Cry 3.  It is its own standalone game that you can download May 1, 2013.  What makes this cool its the look and feel.  Just take a look at the trailer > here or below.  It has this 80’s/90’s  VHS bad action movie look to it.  The game share pretty much all the same game mechanics as Far Cry 3. The official description says,

“As Sergeant Rex Colt, you are part man, part machine, all American. You are a state-of-the art Mark IV cyber-commando on a mission…of vengeance. You’re out to bring down your old commanding officer and his battalion of ruthless killer cyborgs and you’ll stop at nothing to get the job done.”

Kind of wish it was on a disc instead of digital download.  It is said that the game will take place on a single open-world island.  Thinking I might download this.  First off I’ll have to see how much it is and much space it takes on my HD.
