Cyberpunk 2077 Again

Have started to play Cyberpunk 2077 once again.  While the game has some quirks.  Am still having fun playing it.  Have being doing all the side missions in the first part of the map.  Haven’t touched the main story in hours.  Speaking of hours have put in about 36 hours in.  Do believe I am at level 14 with a street cred of 30.  So thinking I will be maxing the cred (which is level 50) long before I every get that high with the main level.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Kind Of Like Skyrim

After about putting twenty hours into Cyberpunk 2077 just doing side stuff.  The game started to remined me a lot of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.   Sure they are two different worlds.  But they have a lot in common.  The cyber tech is pretty much the magic from Skyrim.  The collecting, loot and crafting is in both.  Being able to wait a set number of hours option is there as well.  The biggest is you can pretty much do what you want without touching most of the story missions.  So far I am having a blast playing this game.  Looking forward to the new patch out this month (February 2021) some time.

Cyberpunk 2077 Jumped Back In

Back in January 2021 the makers of Cyberpunk 2077 put out a series of patches.  With another big one come in February.  These were the patches I was waiting for before jumping back in.  Well that has changed.  Took my copy out to a friends house so he could check it out.  At that time the game is on patch 1.11.  Was surprised how much better the game was running.  There was a few small hiccups but nothing major.  So the next started up a new game on my PS4 and it was going well until it crashed hard while I was driving.

Got thinking why not delete the Data files and re-install every thing.  That is what I did and the game is working fine.  Sure, like I said there are some hiccups, but it is playable now.  As I am typing this (February 6, 2021) but in about 12 hours with no trouble.  Mostly playing the side missions and having a blast.  When the new patch is out his month I hope it makes the game even better.

Cyberpunk 2077 News

There is some new news to share about Cyberpunk 2077.   For weeks now we have known that there will be a patch in January and a bigger one in February (2021).   On January 13 they put out a video titled Our Commitment to Quality.  Which you can see > here or below.  There is all so a FAQ on their website that you can read > here.  They basically own up to the mistakes with the game and how they are going to fix.  In ten days from that video going live they said the first patch will be out.  So around the 22 and 23 should be the day.  Then a few weeks after that the bigger patch will be out.  Have stopped playing the game because I knew these were coming.  Do hope these do help the game run better.  The game is fun so want to get back into it.  Will be back with an update once I try out this new patch.

Cyberpunk 2077 Hands On

As I am typing this (December 19, 2020) have had a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 for a week.  This games has become very famous for not running well on PS4’s.  Sony even took it off their digital store.  I have played about six hours or so.  Did running into some small texter pop ins.  Then had one big glitch during a mission. One of the bad guys keep popping in and out of and elevator.  Then had it crash on a loading screen.  To me it’s no reason to overreact too.  They said there will be a patch soon.  Then a big one in January.  As I am just taking my time playing though it.

[Update.  That patch I talked about is now out.  Have it download just not gave it a try it.  Will be back with another update.]
