Leffis 3 Pack Comic Book Storage – Arrived

The day after I posted that the Leffis comic book storage boxes > here over at Amazon.ca I ordered was delayed in shipping in the same city I live in.  It showed up the next day in the afternoon.  The packed was opened up on one corner.  But every thing seems to be intact.  So, on my next day off plan to organized my trade paperback collection.  But thinking these three boxes might not be enough now.

The Leffis comic book storage boxes > here over at Amazon.ca I ordered back on January 21, 2023 was to arrive yesterday (Tuesday February 7, 2023). Well on Monday got a message saying it out for delivery.  But it never showed up.  Looked at the tracking and it was taken back storage.   Saying it would be delivered the next business day.   That came and gone.  Looked again today over on Amazon.ca.  It said it couldn’t be delivered due to storm weather.  Which is odd since it has be nice weather this past few day.  Amazon note all so says if the package is not delivered between February 8 to 15 I can get a refund.  Was very much  looking forward to organized my trade paperback collection.

About a week ago so made a post taking about trying to get my trades and graphic novels organized.  Was looking at getting the three pack Leffis comic book storage boxes.  This set > here over at Amazon.ca.   Well decided to ordered it.  The only down side is it will not be deceived until some time early February (2023).  It will be nice to get all my books organized and put away.

It was back in April/May (2022) made some posts talking about getting more comic book short boxes.  I need more to get my trades and graphic novels organized.  Back then the prices jumped a lot and there wasn’t much in other options.  Took another look this month (January 2022) and seen this > here over at Amazon.ca.   It is a three pack cloth/PVP comic storage boxes.  Even with import fee, delivery and taxes it’s still cheap than other ones on there.  Thinking I might go of it.

DC Greatest Events

There is a book I would like to buy about DC Comics called, DC Greatest Events.  As you may guess from the title.  It talks about all the really big stuff that happed in the DC Multiverse.   The book its self is big and a page count of 200.  So there will be lots of interesting things to read.  However the price point is holding me back a bit.  At the time of typing this (November 16, 2022) Amazon.ca is asking $47.00.  Might wait to see if it goes on sale at some point.

Comics Short Boxes

It was back in April (2022) made a post talking about comic book short boxes.  How I would like to get some more to organize my trades and graphic novels.  Have three boxes (the ones with art on the sides) I bought many years ago for about $20.00.  In that last post was looking at just getting plan white ones.  Didn’t have any luck finding any that were reasonable priced.  Well, that has changed some a set of five > here over at Amazon.ca.  They are asking (as I am typing this, May 1, 2022) $89.88.  This sees to be a good deal.  So thinking next pay day will order a set.

Comics Short Boxes

It has been many years since I have bought any comic book short boxes.  At this time have three.  They are pretty much full and I would like to get all my trades and graphic novels organized.  Thinking I might need two to three more.  Know a local shop sells them for around $20.00 each.  Those are like the ones I have now with art on them.  Took a quick look an Amazon.ca.  They have lots of choices but the prices are very high.  Plus most of them have import fees then plus tax.  Going to have to look into more.

Comics Short Boxes

Back in March (2018) got a Batman themed comic book short box > this one.  Bought it to hold all my Batman trade paperbacks.  I like it so much decided to buy two more of these type boxes.  One for The Walking Dead trades and the other for my Ninja Turtles collection.  The store I got them had all kinds of them.  Was hope to find ones that would match my collection.  But thy did not.  So I bought a Deadpool one and a Joker one.  Really did the look of the Joker one.  Think these are well worth the money.  It will keep the collection safe and dust free.

DC Comics Short Box – Batman

A few weeks back made about post talking about comic book short boxes.  I have way to may trade paperbacks on my shelf.  Which is starting to sag because of the weight.  Seen a bunch of them for sale at a local comic book store.  So decided to buy one to see how well it works for me.  They all had different comic box art printed on them.  Of course a bought a Batman themed one.  From what I have found it was made by NECA and put out by WizKids.  They say it can hold “approximately 150-175 bagged and boarded comics.”   By my math each trade is about four comics in one.  So the box should hold about 30 some.  Will find out when I fill it up.

Comic Book Boxes

Over the years have collected a lot of trade paperbacks.  They are just sitting there on a shelf.  Which is now starting to sag because of the weight.  Was looking in to ways to store them.  Ideally I would like to a real nice book shelf.  Don’t have the room at the moment.  So was looking into some type of bin or box.  Seen some nice plastic ones on online.  They were a bit pricey.  When the other day while checking out the local comic book store seen the they all kinds of what they call, short boxes, for sale.  Each one has different comic book hero on them.  They do look pretty nice.  They are asking about $12.00 or each.  Not sure how many trades they will hold. Thinking about buying one to see how it works out.
