The Sennheiser HD 400S headphones I ordered last week have arrived yesterday (January 8, 2023). It was though a different delivery company. Which I never heard of before, Intelcom.ca and they deliver on Sundays. Which I found odd but nice at the same time.
Gave them a try and they seem very nice. They sound the same as the Sony ones I have. However they are much more comfortable so far. The true test is when I have them on for hour or more.
A few posts back talked about getting a new set of headphones. The ones I have Sony MDR-XB550AP sound find but they hurt my ears. That because they are an on ear design. Back during the Boxing week sales looked on Amazon.ca and see they had the Sennheiser HD 400S on sales. Have heard of this brand before and I think they make good stuff. Looked at some videos and read some reviews. They seemed to be what I am looking for. So ordered them. Should be here some time around January 14, 2023.
Two years ago during the Boxing week sales picked up a set of of headphones, Sony MDR-XB550AP. Have used them pretty much every day since and still don’t like them. They sound great but they are way too small. They are on ear type. I would like to get ones that are over ear. My plan is to watch the sales and get really good ones.
Hoping to pick up some games during the Boxing Day/Week sales. Last year missed out on getting my hands on Far Cry 6. If I can’t find that in store will try Amazon.ca. Would really like to get my hands on a PS5 but that would seem unlikely. All so, may be PS4 controllers will be on sale. My plan is to go tomorrow after work to see what’s there.
Every year during the Boxing Day/Week sales there is something I would like to buy. This year seen that Far Cry 6 is going for about $40.00 at Walmart. All so thinking about picking up a copy of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The only problem they are both have huge worlds to explore. I like to take my time with a game and do everything in the game. Might have to toss a coin to decided which one to get.
[Update] Didn’t have to decided which one to buy because the local Walmart didn’t have any copies left. I guess I wanted too long to going Boxing day shopping.
Did buy one thing during the Boxing week sales. I need a new headphones the ones I had, Sony MDR-XD100, broke. Have had them for over a decade. They are/were and awesome headphones. Think I dropped them one too many times. Because the wire in the left ear keeps cutting in and out. Unless you hold it just the right way. Seen that Walmart has/had Sony MDR-XB550AP set on sale for $38.00. Decided to give them a shot. Will be back with a review at some point.
Am planning on getting a few things during the Boxing Day sales. Well it more like Boxing Week sales. Am looking at getting a new headphones to be used with my computer. Right now I have a nice Sony set. Which I have had for many years. One of the wires become loose so the audio cuts in and out. Want another wired set. Seen a set on the Walmart flyer. So going to look up some reviews. All looking at getting some more cheap games for my black log. Top of my list is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
