Batman The Animated Series Batmobile

Every now and again take a walk down the toy aisle.  This time I seen some small Batmobiles each with a figure.  There were four, The Justice League movie, 1989 Batman, 1966 and the Animated series.  At first I seen the 89 one and was going to buy it.  Took a look at the back of the box and seen that there were three others.  While the 89 one is very cool.   I just had to buy the Animated Series Batmobile.  The car looks great with lots of detail for this size.  According to the website it is 1:32 scale.  You can see it > here.   However the figure it comes with is not so great looking.  Thinking I might to back and buy the 66 and 89 ones.

Batmobile 1989 3D Printing Model

Found this really cool 3D printable mode of the 1989 Batmobile over at Gambody.com.  It is like the car model kits you can buy but you print it and then put it together.  You can see it > here.  There is a lot of cool thins on this site.  They all pretty much cost money.  That is because the models are more high end than on other sites.  Am very temped to get it.  However it cost $35.00.  Just not sure if I am ready in my 3D print skills just yet for it.

Batman: Arkham Knight – Riddler’s Trophies

Once again talking about Batman: Arkham Knight.   A few post back did my review and since then have finished all the side missions.  All but one,  which is The Riddle.  To unlock the final battle with him you first find all this collectibles.  Just like in the past games there are all around the game world.  Some are easy to find.  While others you need to solve puzzles to get them.  In Arkham Knight there are well over 300 items you need to get/solve.  There are 179 trophies, 40 riddles, 6 rioters and 90 breakable objects.  This will take along while to do.  During game play you can stop some bad guys and they will give up the location of some of the items.  That can all so take forever.  However we live in the internet age so there is lots of help out there.  Found a nice post giving a nice break down section by section on all to get all these items.  Which you can find > here.  All so on this page are step by step videos.  Which were put together by Powerpyx.com.  Have used the videos from this site before and they are the best ones out there.  After reading the website.  I found out all these game guides and videos are put together by one person.  Which I think is a amazing.  You can check out the guild for Arkham Knight > here.

Batman: Arkham Knight Review

Finished up the main storyline and about 90% of the side missions (so far) in Batman: Arkham Knight.  They story was really good in spots and others fell a bit flat.  Think this is because its an open world game.  I love open world games.  That is pretty much all the games I own now.  They all run into the same problem at at some point.  That is when something big goes down in the story line.  Then its back to doing the side missions like nothing happened.  I know there is not much that can be done with at.

The map is even bigger because you get to use the Batmobile a lot.  At first found the controls a bit hard to get use to.  That is because there are two modes.  One is the regular driving mode.  Which is fine but when you get in a pursuit the camera pulls back a bit.  Then when taking corners or taking the bad guys out it goes funny.  Takes some time getting used to.  The second mode is battle mode.  Turns the Batmobile into a tank.  This can be fun and a pain at the some time.   It helps a lot to upgrading it.  Not only can you upgrade Batman and his tech/weapons/fighting.  You upgrade the Batmobile weapons and defenses.

There are a lot of varied side missions.  Which are all fun for the most part.  So of then are all finished at %100 with in about four of five segments.  While others take the whole storyline play though to unlock.  Like the past games there are lots of Riddler trophies to find.  Some are easy to find other have many step puzzles to get them.  Even the Batmobile comes into play with some.

Over all the game is a blast to play.  Its much like there other but new and different at the some time.  All so like the other games the combat can be a blast when you get the flow just right. Then a pain in the ass when they throw too many at you.  Each which takes a different technique to take down.  Which makes for some very frustrating moments.  Had some frustrating moments in the main storyline missions.  But not as many as the last games.  Not sure if there will be any more Arkham games.  If they do make another I would gladly buy another one.  Arkham Knight is a great game.  Well worth the time and money.

Batman: Arkham Knight

A few post back talked about getting myself a copy of the limited edition for Batman: Arkham Knight.  Couldn’t find any that was insane in price.  So for my birthday picked up a copy of the standard version.  Which did come with some codes for some add on stuff.  Bought the PS4 version so it came with some time exclusives.  Which are, Scarecrow Nightmare Missions. Plus two skins for Batman, Justice League 3000 Batman and Classic TV series Batman.  All so a skin of the classic TV for the Batmobile.    It all so came with Harley Quinn story pack and a prototype Batmobile skin.

What I dislike about games now is there is all ways a big file to download before you can play.  The one for this game is about 4GB.  When that was downloading decided to put in the codes that came with it.  Turns out the PSN Store in down for maintenance.  Did find a nice site that show the status of the PlayStation Network > here.

[Update] Played about 6% for the story so far.  First off the game looks awesome.  The storyline so far is pretty interesting.  All the missions I have done so far involve the Batmobile is some way.  For the most part its easy to use.  Except for one mission. For some reason it  controlled terribly.  Other than that it fun so far.

Batman: Arkham Knight

The new game Batman: Arkham Knight is now out after many delays.  Have been looking forward to playing this game for a very long time.  Have not bought it yet.  Because am still The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  The plan is to get a copy for myself on my birthday.  Have been eyeballing getting the the limited edition.   Have never bought one of these for any game.  Thought it would it would make a nice give to myself.  Amazon.ca doesn’t have any (on June 24, 2015).  Might call round to see if any local place might have it before I pick up the standard version.

On another Batman note.  There is a Batman Arkham Knight Vol. 1 hardcover graphic novel will be out soon.  It will be out on July 14, 2015.  Will be putting that on my list to buy.

Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer

There is a cool new trailer out for Batman: Arkham Knight.  This one stands out because we get to see Nighwing and Robin.  Which is fine by itself but.  It looks like in the game while fighting they can do some tag team like moves.  It is cool looking.  Not sure how it works.  So looking forward to playing game.  After many delays it will be out June 23, 2015.  Check out the new trailer > here or below.  Which is called, “All Who Follow You.”

Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed Again!

One of my most looking forward to getting games has been delayed again, Batman: Arkham Knight.  Mind you this delay is not as long.  The game was set to be out June 2, 2015.  Not it will be June 23.  On the plus side they put out a new gameplay video.  Which you can see > here or below.   The video is called Officer Down PS4 Gameplay. From what the description it says the footage was captured directly from a PlayStation 4.  The seven minute video looks amazing.  It has all the cool Batman stuff we all now and love plus we see the Batmobile in action.

On a side note there is other news about Batman games.  It looks like the first two, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are getting remastered for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer

Have not talked about the game Batman: Arkham Knight in a long time.  There hasn’t been much news.  That has changed.  There is a bran new trailer out called, Gotham is Mine.  It has a good look at the city.  But its more focused on the bad guys.  Who all look awesome.  You can check out the cool trailer > here or below.  So can’t wait for June 2, 2015 for this game to be out.  There is more news as well the game will have ESRB rating of M.  Found that a bit odd since the other were rated T.  Think this will be a good thing.  They must be making the game even darker.

Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed Again

Back in June (2014) Batman: Arkham Knight was delayed.  The game was first set to come out this October (2014).  Well the game has been delayed again.  How ever they have set a release date.  Which is June 2, 2015.  There all so will be two limited editions.  They both come with a 80 page art book, SteelBook case, a Arkham Knight comic book, a three skin pack.  The difference is the limited edition comes with a Batman statue all that for $100.  The second one is the Batmobile Edition.  You guested it, it comes with a transforming Batmobile statue.  This one cost $200.
