Assassin’s Creed Movie Review

Am a bit late getting around to reviewing Assassin’s Creed movie.  If you have every stopped by this blog you will know I am a huge fan of the Assassin’s Creed games.  When I first heard about his movie back in 2016 and see the trailer.  It looked interesting but wasn’t too sure how good it would be.  Then when it was out.  Heard lots of bad things about it.  So chucked it up to being another bad video game movie.

The movie has been on Netflix for a while now and has been on my list to watch.  So the other night gave it a watch.  Well I enjoyed this movie.  It was really well put together.  They did an awesome job of working in story elements and stuff from the games with out being on the nose with it.  Sure the over all story was simplified.  It is an action movie after all.  Speaking of action.  Those scenes were awesome.  The ending as a bit predictable.  Leaving it out for a sequel.  Would like to see another one.  But I don’t think it did do well at the box office.  If you have Netflix it well worth your time.

Assassin’s Creed 3

I knew it was going to happen.  Just a matter of time.  There will be a new Assassin’s Creed coming out this year.  This one will be titled Assassin’s Creed 3.  There will be a new “protagonist” this time around.  Not more info has been released yet other than it will be out October 30th 2012.  I am sure it will be just as awesome as the others.  Just wonder what directions they are going to take it.  Like what part is history will it take place in.  Time will tell.  I can pretty much guarantee I will be buying this.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Review

Finished off the main story line of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations last night (Jan 27, 2012).  Have said it a few times before, I love these games.  This one is now different.  While this game is more or less like the last two.  It takes some things way and adds some new things.  It is still very fun to play.  Didn’t seem as big as Brotherhood was but there is still lots to do.  The story line was more straight forward.  Has one of the best ending missions of all the games I have ever played.  Was very fun.

Enjoyed this game very much.  Can’t wait to got back in and get all the stuff I missed.  On the down side didn’t like it as much as the last two.  If this is your first try at the Assassin’s Creed games I say get number two and Brotherhood first because you will not really know what is going on.  You can pick those ones up pretty cheap now.  One more thing.  Don’t want to give any thing way so will keep it vague.  It ends with another cliff hanger.  Makes me mad but I will be getting the next one for sure.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Review

Last night I finished off the rest of the story missions in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.  If you liked part two, like I do then you will love Brotherhood just as much.  It is bigger, tons more side quest, killer new weapons and being able to fast travel or use a horse makes this one better than the last.  The controls felt better as well.  Seemed to make les mistakes.  Still made some but not as bad.  So far I have about 26 hours into the game.  Most of that is just checking very thing out and doing side quests.  Pretty sure if you just rushed though the game it wouldn’t take too long.  But where is the fun in that.  You would miss out on a lot of stuff.  There is only one problem with the game.  Some times you don’t know what is going on in a mission and have to start over.  However the missions do have a great check point system.

Love this game.  It is a must buy.  Even if you are unsure give it a rent you will not be disappointed.
