Assassin’s Creed: The Renaissance

Just started to reading Assassin’s Creed: The Renaissance again last night.  I picked this up months ago.  Stopped reading when I got the Scott Pilgrim Boxset.  Since I finished reading those I thought I should start reading this one again.  The book is based off of Assassin’s Creed 2 game.  So far the book is flowing the game pretty much word for word.  If am fine with that since the game is one of my all time favourites.  There is a second book out now that shares the same name as the game it is based on, Brotherhood.  Just might pick that one up since that is an awesome game as well.

Saints Row 2

I picked up Saints Row 2 about three weeks ago.  Found the greatest hits version in the cheap bin a  Wal-Mart.  I couldn’t pass the deal up.  $24 is a fair price since the game is a few years old now.  The reason I picked it up was because I finished Assassins Creed 2 and Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City was pushed back a few weeks so I need something to fill the void.

This games is pretty fun.  Not as nice and slick like GTA 4.  How it is way over the top.  There are so many crazy things you can do.  My favourite thing is to grab people and then throw them just to see how far the go.  If you have not tried Saints Row 2 and see in the cheap bin you can’t go wrong.

Assassin’s Creed II Review

I must says Assassin’s Creed II is one of the best games I have ever played.  It sucked me, time flew by and I enjoyed ever minute.  It has been awhile since any game keep be playing.   Unlike a lot of new games this one is long.  So far I have put in about 30hrs.

The game play is unreal.  There is some much you can do.  You can pretty much go any were.  Climbing up stuff is then doing a leap of faith never gets old.
The fighting can take a bit getting used to but once you do it can be fun.  One of the most fun things is pulling off a double assassination with your hidden blades.  There is lots of side quest.  Finding all the hidden objects can be fun as well.

This is a must buy.  There is some much game here you will be playing for hours and hours.

Assassin’s Creed II

Picked up Assassin’s Creed II about two days ago.  Put a few hours into now.  It is really nice looking and fun to play.  There is lots to look at and do.  The controls take a bit getting used to.  Free-running is fun, climbing up every thing is easy.  How ever it can be very tricky at the same time.  I find myself falling and missing the jumps.  It fine when I am taking my time.  But when I am trying to get away it is much more difficult.  Might be because I panic.  LOL.   Well have a review at some point.
