Arrow Season Two Review

Season two of Arrow has ended.  The first season was really good.  Season two was even better.  All the characters had good storylines.  The action scenes were much better as well.  Just wished there was more of them.  What’s great about this season is the second half.  We got to see more of Deathstroke.  Don’t want to spoil any but with a name like that you know he is the bad guy.  He does have the coolest looking costume.  What makes this show good is you never know what’s going to happen next.  They have finely clued in you can’t have a formula in which ever episode is pretty much the same.  Each show is a continuation of the ones before it.  Some time might pass between them but the story is all ways moving with twits and turns.

This season was top notch.  Everything about the season was bigger and better.  The season finale was the best episode of both seasons. Every thing the built to this episode. So much cool stuff happened.  The have ended storylines of the past two seasons and then set up storylines for season three.  If you haven’t seen this show yet you need to start watching.  Now that the season is over we will have to want until next fall for season three.  In which I am sure will be even better.

Arrow Season Two Part Way Review

This first part of season two of Arrow is now over.  It will pick up again in January.  Think I will do a part way though review.  Really liked the first season.  So far season two put the first season to shame.  It is ten times better.  Like the first season they have three storylines going on at the same time.  However they have cut the fat and it makes everything flow much better.  All so the actors I guess “have four their characters”.  Which makes things better as well.  If you haven’t had the chance to check out the show now its a good time to get caught up before it starts up again in January.  The best thing to so is start from the very first episode because all but one episode (I think) have pretty much continued from the ones before it.  Not going to give it a score yet.  That will happen when the season ends.

Arrow Season Two Episode One Impressions

Got around to watching the first episode of season two of Arrow.  Just like the first season I was very impressed.  You can tell they have some more money this season.   All so like the new direction they are going.  I am sure they will work in a new love triangle or some thing like that to keep the ladies watching.  The action stuff was all so very good.  Just like the first season.  They have found the right combination.   My only worry is they will just use a formal.  The first show did a great job of tying up season one and all so introducing new  characters for the new season.  I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.  Just like the first season there will be 23 episodes.   I am thinking they will do what they did last time show a half the episodes this year and show the other half in 2014 starting late January.

Arrow Season Two

This time of year is all ways good for watching TV.  New shows start and others come back.  I am looking forward to season two of Arrow.  The first season was very good.  Thing the second will be even better.  Think there will be more of hero’s and more action.  Well that’s my hope any way.  There is a rumour the The Flash will be in there at some point and get his own spin off how.  That would be cool.  If they do it right.  You can check out a trailer for season two > here or below.  The season kicks of October 9, 2013.  Which happens to be tomorrow night .

Arrow Season Two Trailer

There is a trailer out now for season two of Arrow.  The first season was pretty cool.  Which will be out on DVD/Blu-ray September 17, 2013.  Now back to season two.  If you check out the trailer > here or below.  You will see that it looks just as good and better.  Think that with the big success of the first season, season two will have more money to work with.  When you check out the trailer the first part is all old scenes but the new stuff starts about half way though.  I am guessing that this new season, starting October 9, 2013, will be more a superhero like.  That is my hope.  Would like to see more of Green Arrow and a little less of the love triangle stuff.  Looking forward to the new season.

Arrow Season One Review

Am very impressed with season one of Arrow.  All 23 episodes are very good.  Can only think of one that was just ok.  That was a standalone episode.  All the rest followed the same story arc.  Really like TV shows that move along one big arc.  While asking questions then answering them and leaving you wanting more.  When I first heard about this show thought they would go down the road like the shows of the past.  Each episode have a bad guy do something evil and then it is up to the good guy to save the day.  It was very refreshing to see a “super hero” show that was darker and people die.  The show does have its love story lines and family problems.  How ever it is all ways changing.   The characters do not stay the same thought out the whole season.  The last two episodes of the season were the best.  The main story got some closure.  While leaving some things the be answered in season two.

If you have not seen this show yet, you are missing out.  This is a very fun and interesting show to watch.  After each episode you are left wanting to see more.  That is the mark of a good show.  Now that season one is over will have to sit back and wait for season two to start.  Which is in October 2013.  Season one will be out on DVD/Blu-ray September 9, 2013.  I will be picking up a copy.
