Anycubic Mega Zero 2.0

Taking about FDM 3D printers again.  A few months back heard about the Elegoo Neptune 2.  Have seen that it’s a great printer for a good price, $230.00, Canadian.  The only problem is you can’t buy one.  The announced it back in February, with a list of Amazon links.  Every time I look at the .ca site is says “Currently Unavailable”.  Oh, and there is no info on their website about it.  So thinking I will now be going with the Anycubic Mega Zero 2.0.  Looked and all most bought the first model, Mega Zero.  This new model as some better features.  It does cost more than the Neptune 2 but at lest I can get one.  Will make up my mind soon.  Will be back with an update.

Artillery Genius

Have been looking at many FDM 3D printers for the past year.  There has been two I had my eye on, the FLSUN Q5 and the Anycubic Mega Zero (or S model).  Have found  another one that I think I will be getting in the new year (when I can get a good deal on one).  It is the Artillery Genius.  Watch some videos on it.  Very simple to put together and easy to use.  Another good feature is it a lot quieter than the Mega models.  All so can use different filaments.  Received some Amazon gift cards for Christmas so thinking I will get a spool of PLA filament.  So when I do get the printer I can start right way.

Anycubic Mega Zero

Have my eye on a different FDM 3D printer now.  It is the Anycubic Mega Zero.  A for a bit now have been thinking about getting a FLSUN Q5.  That one is really nice.  It just very tall and were I would have to use it.  It might not fit.   All so the the price on the Mega Zero is cheaper.  This is mostly because it doesn’t have a heated build plate.   Watched a bunch of video on it and it seems to work great. All so easy to setup.  In the States it’s supper cheap. As of typing this (September 15, 2020) it’s on sale of there website for $139.00.  They don’t ship to Canada.  However Amazon.ca has it > here for $210.00.  That is all most $200 cheaper than the FLSun Q5.  Going to think on it some more.

Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine One Last Update

Finally heard back about the Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine I ordered back in March (2020).  They said it will not be shipped since it will no longer be a Canadian supplier.  When I first looked at getting this I did check to see if they are or ship to Canada.  At that time they did.  Then they asked if I wanted a refund.  Well of course I do.  Not going to give you my money for free.  Need to keep a close eye on my Pay Pal to make sure they do.  Still every much would like to get on of these machines.  They only place in Canada is to get one now is Amazon.ca.  Which is fine but they want too much.  All more $100.00 than I paid the first time.  If they do go on sale at some point it jump at it.

Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine Another Update

Still waiting to see when I will receive the Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine I bought back in March (2020).  A little bit back story. Ordered it and at that time it was for sale and at a good price.   Went though buying it with Pay Pal.  Received and email saying you order has been received.  Will update you went it ships.  As I did that the product listing went back to be a pre-order.  Since then It now for sale again.  Every day I check my email for original link they sent me to see if they are shipping it.  Still haven’t received any notices.  So I sent them an email asking questions.   A week and a half later, still no reply.  Going to email again.  I know the world is a bit crazy now but an simple email would be nice.

It was back in March (2020) that I ordered the Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine.  At that time it was for sale and at a good price.   Went though buying it with Pay Pal.  Received and email saying you order has been received.  Will update you went it ships.  A few weeks go by and still haven’t got any news on shipping.  Head back to their website.  The product listing reads it back to pre-ordering.  So my guess I just missed out on the first batch.  It is now April 11, 2020 (As I am typing this).  The website says it is now sold out.  Do hope I get some kind of info on it soon.  If not just might have to see if I can get my money back.

Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine Ordered

A few weeks back talked about the Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine.   This device let your clean and curing you resin 3D prints.   I own an Elegoo Mars.  Before it was out you could have pre-ordered and saved a bunch of money if you bought it from their website.  The thing was, it was in US money.  I decided to see it would come to Amazon.ca.  It did, and at first they had a $80 digital coupon.  Dragged my feet on that and missed out.  So on Amazon.ca it cost $360.00 now.  That is a bit too much for me.  So looked back on the Anycubic website and they are asking $189.00 US.  Did some math and it is cheaper to buy it in US money and do the money exchange.  I even found a discount code, so I saved an extra $10.00.  It ended up costing me $260.00 in Canadian with free shipping.   A much better deal.  Not sure when it will get here. Guessing about a week.  Will be back with an update.

Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine

Back in January (2020) found out that Prusa has a washing and curing machine called the CW1.  It as pretty slick machine for being used with resin 3D prints.  The thing is, it costs $700.00 US.  Discovered there is another machine coming out soon called the Anycubic Washing & Curing Machine.  Anycubic make many different 3D printers and have one that is comparable to the one I have the Elegoo Mars.  Watched a video on how it works.  Which you can see > here.  Must say it works great and think its prefect of me.  But was guessing it would be super pricey.  Turns out it a great price, $189.00 US.  However as of typing this (February 25, 2020) its $159.00 US in a pre-order.  For that price very temped.
