Copyright Strike

Have made a few posts talking about how I got a copyright takedown notice for one of my videos for the channel I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry. Contacted the person and we worked out a deal. They would remove the takedown so I could edit the video. Did that and they were happy. Well checking my email today (May 16, 2023) YouTube gave me a copyright strike and removed the video. The strike will last 90 days or if you complete a copyright school it will shorter. Did that, pretty simple to do. The problem is if the person removed the takedown why you YouTube still remove the video?
