Baz Luhrmann – Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

Baz_Luhrmann_Everybodys_Free_To_Wear_Sunscreen It is that day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday.  The song this week is Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by Baz Luhrmann.  Well it is not your regular song.  It is a spoken word type poem with music behind it.  This is off the 1998 album Something for Everybody.  I can remember seen the video of it and is this.  Which you can see > here or below.  All so remember it being a bit of a hit.  At the time is was something so different than all the other music.  While looking up info for this post.  Turns out the “song” is based off of a essay written as a commencement speech.
