Indie Game: The Movie Review

IndieGameTheMovieA week or so ago I got to check out the documentary Video Games: The Movie.  That got me thinking about another video game documentary I heard about but never seen it until now.  It is called Indie Game: The Movie.  This documentary is very well made just like the other one.  How ever this one goes into much more detail.  Which over all makes it interesting.  The story follows three different games and the people making them.  There is Braid.  Which was and is a big hit.  The guy that made it talks about what it was like after having a big hit.  Then there is Super Meat Boy.  It follows the guys just about to finish then releasing it.  Show the work, stress and worries that go into making an independent game.  The third game is Fez.  Which was in development for four years (at the point when the film was made).

It is a pretty interesting watch.  It show how much work and stress that over takes their lives.  All for a game that they hope people will like.  They all a points though out the film worried that no one will get or like their games.  If you are a gamer and or thinking about getting into making a game.  You need to watch this documentary.

4 out of 5 GT (GT = Good Times)
