First Ride Of 2014

Have been waiting which seems like a very long time to get my motorcycle, a 2006 Yamaha XT 225 out for the first ride of the year.  Past years I got out for the first ride in March or April.  This year how ever it was May 9, 2014.  The weather has been pretty crappy in April so I had to wait.  This year it took me three tries to get the bike started.  Once it got started it worked like a charm.  It was about 14 °C out with not much wind.  Felt good to go for a 30 minute ride.  Just hope the weather stays nice so I can start taking it to work.
