Batman: Knightfall Volume One Review
Have finished reading volume one of the Batman: Knightfall series. When I first started reading this it felt like there was some thing missing. There are some characters I kind of knew about. But not there backstory. It starts off with a great backstory of Bane. But there is none talking about Jean-Paul Valley (he takes over as Batman). I am sure that the character has introduced before this story takes place. But it would have been nice if they included it. The first half of the book was a bit boring. Felt like it was missing pieces. How every about half way though. It gets into a story with Scarecrow. Which is really good. Then the last of the book is really good as well. The story flowed together nicely. Things were explained. Still while leaving it open for the next volume.
Really like reading this. Even if the first part of the book feels like it is missing parts. The last half of it makes up for it. Now can’t wait to read volumes two and three. Its hard to give a score since there are three books to this series. They are like one whole over arcing story. Will score each volume then score the whole thing when I am done reading them all.
4 out of 5 GT (GT = Good Times)
