Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 1: Change is Constant Review
Last week took a road trip to Halifax and stopped at Strange Adventures. When I was there picked up a copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Change is Constant Volume 1. Had know idea what the story was about just saw that it was volume one with TMNT in it. The story is awesome. It is a new take on origin story of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It has all the characters you know but there are some differences. Splinter and the turtles are used in law run by Baxter Stockman. April O’Neil is a newly hired inter at the law. Things happen (don’t want to spoil any thing) and the turtles/Splinter come into contact with the ooze. Also Casey Jones is younger and has a different back ground. Really enjoyed this new take on the story. It is more of an adult take on the story as well. The art is very nice too look at as well. Highly recommend checking this out. Even if you are not into comics but remember the Ninja Turtles from you childhood.
This a an excellent re-boot of the Ninja Turtles origin. After reading it and loved it want to get the rest of them. Did some research and turns out there (so far) five volumes. Now I have to get them all. Since I will not be heading back to Halifax any time soon will have to order theses off of Amazon.ca.
