Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope Review

ComicConAFansHope As I am typing this the 2012 San Diego Comic Con is taking place.  Back on Tuesday the documentary about the comic con called Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope come out on DVD.   Have been interested in the comic/pop culture stuff but not at the same level the people that go to these conventions.  So this documentary was a nice way to see what it is in some way like to be here.  Not just the Hollywood stuff they show on TV.

I like how they put this together.  Not only do they talk to the people that got every year but all so the famous people that are into that stuff as well.  Another good this is they did not just focus on just one as spec.  There were stories about guys tying to get into drawing comics, there were the costume people, there were the guys that just wanted toys you can only buy there and the people that sold comic books.  It was very well round.

This is a very strong rent.  Even if you are not into that whole comic related world it is just a excellent documentary.
