The Pacific Review

Just finished watching part ten of The Pacific.  This is a really good miniseries.  It is nice to see the war from a different place.  A lot of people are comparing it to Band of Brothers and complaining.  I think they forget,  this is pretty much what how it happened.  That is how the Pacific battles were.

The story focuses more on the horrors of war and what it does to people.  They don’t hold back and showing you this either.  There is one scene that still sticks with me.  It would rival and horror movie.  Want to describe it but I don’t want people to loss the impact if they have not see that episode yet.

This is a very good watch.  I think it will be even better once it is out on DVD and gets all kinds of extras.
