Video Card Fan Trouble Part Two

If you have read my other post about my Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS video card making a very loud sound.  After reading up on how to fix them.  Decided to take the video card out and do this.  After getting it out and looking at it.  See that the fan itself is cracked.  So after dusting it off tired to figure out how to fix that.  Tape, that is the solution.  Cut up a few small strips of electrical tape and tape it up.  Wasn’t sure if that would work.  Well it kind of did for the first few minutes.  It was much quieter then it got louder.  Not as bad.  It will have to do until I get a new one.  Looked around and had no luck finding the same card I have for sale.  Just might have to upgrade.  That is another pain trying to find one that will work with my system.
