New Years Eve Walk

canon-fs10.jpgYesterday (Dec 31, 2008 ) I went for a walk to try out my new video camera. It is a Canon FS 10.  I am really happy how the video turned out.  Of course you are going to loose some of the quality when you post it online.  I have tried to post a windscreen vision on YouTube because YouTube use windscreen now and my camera shoots true windscreen.  But for some reason YouTube makes the video look all blocky and crappy.  Tired at least 5 different sizes and formats. Trying to one last time to upload it to YouTube.  It is processing has I type this.   In the mean time I uploaded a copy to Yahoo Video.  Not sure it WordPress will let me embed it.  So if you don’t see it below, click here.

[Update] The YouTube video is a bit better now.  Not great but better.  One cool thing I got the “HD” to work.  Looks better in the HD setting.  Click here to view that.  Here is a tip I have learned about YouTube.  If you type “&fmt=18″ that the end of the URL most of the time you get a better version of the video.  Example “youtube.com/watch?v=HkMVHv15IzE”  add the &fmt=18 right after the “HkMVHv15IzE” part.
