GTA IV Freezing Up

So far I had my copy of GTA IV freeze up three times. I am not the only one. The “interwebs” is all the talk about it. Gamespot posted an article on what Take Two tech support says may fix the problem. They have 12 steps to go though. The big ones being deleting the install data and the game saves. I don’t have a problem deleting the install data. But I am not deleting my saves. I have played around 7 hours and found some cool things. I may try the other steps first to see if that does any thing. You can read the article here.
